As we approach our first anniversary, Luminosity Games would like to take a look back at everything that has happened in our first year, and boy did a lot happen! Below is our first year roundup, a look at the important dates and accomplishments for us!
June 9, 2013: luminositygames.com domain registered.
July 1, 2013: Luminosity Games officially launched. The first game codes released.
July 23, 2013: Pokémon: SacredFire is released, its first Windows game.
August 3, 2013: Our Facebook page reaches 100 likes.
August 11, 2013: We hosted our first contest.
August 22, 2013: Luminosity Games releases Danger Zone: Compact Edition, its second Windows game.
September 10, 2013: Luminosity Games’ first Android game, Balloon Frenzy, hits 1,000 global games played.
December 1, 2013: Members of Luminosity Games launch news outlet Techbabblers.
December 8, 2013: Our second Android game, Danger Zone, hits 1,000 global games played.
January 25, 2014: Luminosity Games accounts opens up to the public.
February 1, 2014: Metro Navigator’s open beta goes live.
February 20, 2014: Second contest winners announced.
March 1, 2014: New company logo announced.
March 4, 2014: New company logo revealed and implemented.
March 20, 2014: luminositygames.com goes full text-based.
March 29, 2014: Luminosity Games releases student-studying tool Flash.
April 20, 2014: Luminosity Games designs the Facebook cover photo for NYU Secrets.
June 1, 2014: New Android game teased.
June 4, 2014: luminositygames.com gets the most sessions of all-time at 52.
June 15, 2014: Chainball is officially revealed.
As our year comes to a close in a week, I want to personally thank each and every one of you for being a part of it. It really means a lot. I can’t wait to see what next year brings forth. See you at the launch of Chainball on July 1st to celebrate the end of our first year and start of our second!
